Important: The Nx2me® app is designed for usage by patients undergoing dialysis and their caregivers during hemodialysis procedures utilizing a NxStage cycler alongside various optional peripheral devices like a blood pressure monitor, weight scale, and thermometer. It is a prerequisite for your dialysis facility to have enrolled in the Nx2me Connected Health program by NxStage Medical to enable the utilization of this application.

The Nx2me app retrieves treatment data from the Cycler and allows patients or caregivers to input supplementary treatment data including weight, vitals, medication details, notes, and patient evaluations. This amalgamated data is transmitted to the patient's dialysis center in the form of a flowsheet upon treatment completion. Beyond just storing and transmitting flowsheets, the app offers troubleshooting guidance for alarms and alerts, as well as supports virtual interactions with NxStage technical assistance.

Healthcare professionals at dialysis centers are able to access the transmitted data through the Nx2me Clinician Portal, which affords them expanded functionalities for reviewing treatment details and providing assistance remotely while patients are at home.
